You begin by selecting two different cards to combine in the Tarot Synthesis window. When two have been chosen in the top two slots, the bottom two slots will fill up with up to two possible results. If the two monster cards chosen to combine are of the same rank, the resulting monster(s) will also be a rank higher.

Using Tarot Synthesis is the only way to obtain most S+ Rank, and all SS and SSS rank Tarot cards, using specific Tarot card combinations.
