(1) Go to the Divine Hall and speak with Juno. A cutscene will play when you accept showing Shinra from Glenn coming in.

(3) Go to Glen and speak to Shinra outside, near the tavern at B-3

It is recommended to have decent enough gear for level 30-35 if attempting this quest at low level. A sword and shield is recommended for added protection. Waiting until Lv 40 to unlock Tarot Synthesis can make the fight go a lot smoother.
(4) When asked, select “No,” then “Yes,” and lastly “Yes.”
*Talk to Yuno inside the fortune hall at [[Orphea Town]]'s underground map D-5. She will give you a Serapia Card key item after a cutscene.
 
*You will need to defeat 5 [[Merge Star|Merge Stars]] (マージスター)
(5) You will now have a boss fight with Pessimistic Darkness. HP is ~2,200
**These can be found in [[Gilzad Region]] ギルザッド地方 at C-4 - D-4, among other areas.
 
*Once 5 Merge Stars have been defeated, head to B-2 in [[Glen Castle Town]] グレン城下町 and talk to Shurina who will ask you some questions. Answer no, yes and then yes when prompted to use your Serapia Card.
(6) DO NOT FORGET TO TALK TO SHINRA AGAIN AFTER BOSS
*Upon using your Serapia Card, you will be taken into a solo fight against Pessimistic Darkness (悲観の闇).
 
*After defeating the boss, talk to Shurina once more.
(7) Return to Juno in Orphea and turn in the quest
*Return to Yuno at the fortune hall for a cutscene and to complete the quest.
==Fight Tips==
If attempting the fight around level 30, make sure to bring both damaging and healing Arcana, or be ready with healing items, especially if attempting higher difficulty versions. Waiting until Lv 40 to unlock Tarot Synthesis can make the fight go a lot smoother.<br>
