Walkthrough
- Talk to Shantotto in Wind Town Azlan F5, in front of the bathhouse.
- She will give you a special set of earrings, the Crystal Earrings.
- When equipped, Plant-type monsters might drop Gysahl Greens.
- Hunt down some plant monsters and gather some Gysahl Greens. Note that these drop like regular items in brown chests and not like regular quest items that display a message when they drop.
- For example, you can defeat Mitey Oak and Monolog in around Azlan Region C6 / D5.
- Return to Wind Town Azlan and feed the greens to the Chocobo.
- Report to Shantotto to finish the quest. She will award you with a Mandragora Coin for the Magic Maze.
- Important note: If you talk to Shantotto again, she will exchange your Mandragora Coin for an Apex Mandragora Coin.
- You can replay this quest once per day while the event lasts.
Chocobo Tickets
Using a Mandragora Coin or an Apex Mandragora Coin in the Magic Maze will allow you to fight this Final Fantasy monster.
- Defeating the Mandragora alone will give you 2 Chocobo Tickets.
- Defeating the Apex Mandragora alone will give you 3 Chocobo Tickets.
