Fairy Mirror
The Fairy Mirror is an item used to preview and customize nearly all equipment, dolboard prisms, and character customization options available in Dragon Quest X.
It is obtainable from talking to any concierge in Inns across Astoltia.
The mirror's primary feature is allowing players to save outfits and dyes in it, albeit one at a time. After saving an outfit, the option to quickly view a cost rundown of the dyes and outfit pieces present in the mirror becomes available at the Traveler's Bazaar.
A similar option becomes available at the Salon and Dyer NPCs, allowing the loading of recorded character looks and dye selections respectively.
The Fairy Mirror is also available in the Dragon Quest X Companion App, albeit with a few changes; unlike the ingame UI, it's possible to view saved outfits on all races as opposed to human and the player's chosen race. There's also a button to quickly swap the two dye channels, and the ability to take pictures of the player character in the real world.
The app, due to Japanese regulations, has a very audible shutter sound present when taking pictures that cannot be disabled.
